First of all let me excuse me for writing English. I can't write in Portugese.

We 're from the Netherlands (Hollanda). We'll be visiting your beautifull country in a few weeks. We'll arrive on may 4th and have to leave on may the 10th. We know that's to short but it's all the free time we could get.

We'll be staying in Lagos on the southcoast.

Which caches in the neightbourhood of Lagos are the must do's? What caches are the most beautifull ones? We can't do looong walks or mountain-tour. One of our teammembers is only 5 years old.

Does anybody have an earthcache in that area in mind? We would love to do a Portugese earthcache. I know there isn't one yet.

We'll bring some Travelbugs and geocoins to put in the caches. Those bugs love to travel.

We're looking forward to our holidayweek in Portugal. Thanks for your time.

Hi there. We have some geocachers here in Algarve.
There are some foreign geocachers here like espargosas and team caracache, but they're more into those looong walks caches
Unfortunately I didn't do most of the Lagos caches yet.
Still i'll send you some lines about those i found so far, later.

BTW the question "where can i find some caches i Lagos" is by coincidence a sort of "(not so) private joke" in this forum.

Hi! Do you know something about Lagos caches? If so, can you provide me the location of some?

Don't pay attention. Like Alieri said it's a private joke of this forum.

I've tried to do some of the Lagos caches myself, but surely i've got bad luck because the caches i've chosen involved some boring countings and complicated math. However i'm sure that there are some good caches around Lagos.

Near Portimão (some 15-20 km far from Lagos) i recomend you to go to GC14VC1 ("Varandas do Mar") cache. It involves a nice walk by the cliffs top with spectacular coastline views.

If you decide to go to Albufeira (45 km from far Lagos). Don't forget to visit my caches (i've got to do some advertising ) GC1566P ("The Pathway To Paradise") and GC14J75 ("Seaside Heights"), both near the coastline.
