Logs Catitas
Apeteceu-me saudar uns logs que recebi em alguma das minhas caches de Faro, pela sua frescura e pelo exemplo do que deve ser um log, provando que mesmo caches sem piada nenhuma em meio urbano podem receber um texto decente:
[LOG] Owner: Zalgariath found Rua de Santo António [Faro] (Traditional Cache)
An appropriate first cache in Faro Town. Arriving late last night I met up with my friends and promptly headed out... 50 cent beers?! Hoo Yah! Needless to say even though it was a Wednesday we had a great time at a few of the local clubs and danced and partied until after dawn. Cant remember the last time I was out until after sunrise... awesome
This morning (afternoon :P) on waking I headed into town and loved the paving of the streets here... awesome stuff. Grabbed breakfast (lunch) from the Crossant shop which is very good and then caught the bus to the beach to meet some people I met out last night. Had a good swim but didnt get the chance to walk all the way out to Faro Ilse cache
Oh well. Spotted this one after a quick wander and a well placed bag drop allowed easy grabbing.
Cheers from Australia!

Yeah! My first cache in Portugal and indeed on Continental Europe
Working in the UK and Ireland this year I had some time off over the Easter break and the cheapest flight I could find was to Faro, Portugal, so here I am! Found a cache in Dublin this morning to give me a new record for longest distance caching in a day for me when I grabbed this just before 11pm tonight. After landing it was a short walk and quick hunt (glad it was night! GZ is very 'exposed'... and mildly hilarious :P) to locate the cache before returning to the Taxi rank at the airport to catch a cab to town. Nice hide and I left a Cachekins TB Monkey for the next finder. Direct from Ireland and brand new that one!
First of hopefully many in Portugal over the next 2 weeks. Cheers from Sydney, Australia!
Zalgariath found Liceu de Faro [Faro] (Traditional Cache) at 4/29/2011

Looks like there is a bit of work going on at the Liceu de Faro at the moment. Took a little wandering and time but indeed the cache can be spotted by the Eagle Eye without touching anything... and then only needs a second to grab if you are careful. Just a hint as I nearly made the error.... its NOT black, so dont touch that... you'll know what I mean when you get there. At first I thought I was being clever as I have seen that hide type before but turns out this one is real :P Cheers from Australia. OooH! Also found a Pathtag in the Cache! Awesome!
