I am a geocacher from the Netherlands. I am staying in Lisbon this week. I enjoy your city very much and of course I am doing some geocaching. Today I lost my GPS. Now I want to buy a new one. Please could you inform me where in Lisbon I can buy a Garmin GPS (like the Etrex). I am staying in the neighbourhood of the Park Eduardo vii.

Garmin.pt will take you to Satsignal, which is outside Lisbon (you probably won´t like that). Ciclonatur site is rather confusing and I wasn´t able to find any reference to prices or their shop.

As a personal recommendation for a GPS Store in Lisbon, try http://www.dnd.pt. Check their prices then head to their store in Belém (by the river, near the Discoveries Monument, the Belém Tower or the Jeronimos Monastery)

DND has very good prices. I sugest you give them a try.

some of us may have some mobility and will gradly bring a laptop and some dead trees so you can continue geocaching ´round here.
